The Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust (CTCTT) owns and stages the Cape Town Cycle Tour and, in doing so, carries out all day-to-day operational requirements of the annual event.
The successful annual staging of the Cycle Tour and its sub-events enables the Trust to source funds for its two beneficiaries, the PPA and Rotary Club of Claremont, which apply the proceeds for community projects and the development and promotion of cycling. It also provides a viable publicity mechanism for all event sponsors and partners.
The role of Group CEO has recently become available, and is open for applications. This role would report directly to the Trustees of Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust, a non-profit organisation.
The position would entail strategic and operational management of the company, ensuring efficient operations at optimum productivity.
Stakeholder management with the Beneficiaries, Sponsors, Event Partners, Trustees and the community would be a high priority. Overall financial responsibility and growth of revenue would be that of the CEO. Inclusive of this, daily management of the operations, which typically includes event and asset management.
