Bumble Bee Fund
Category: Health, Kids
Aerodynamically, the Bumble Bee shouldn’t be able to fly. But the Bumble Bee doesn’t know this, so it defies the odds and keeps on flying. Disabled children are often the same. While not knowing what their limitations are, they defy the odds and exceed all expectations!
The Bumble Bee Fund was founded to help families struggling with the cost of providing an environment and mobility equipment that allow their children to live out their full potential.
In 2016 we raised funds for various children in need including: Six year old Ntando who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, Britney who suffers from Brittle Bone Disease and thirteen year old Jameil who has Cerebral Palsy. This year, we are again using the Cape Town Cycle Tour to raise funds for various disabled children in need and we would love you to join us in changing their lives through the gift of mobility!
You will benefit by receiving a quality cycle shirt to spur you on your way and most importantly pedalling for a cause while having fun and enjoying support along the route.
Cost R800 entry fee + fundraising of R1000. To help you raise the R1000 for our beneficiaries we will supply you with a raffle sheet. Just sell the 20 raffle tickets @ R50 each to friends and family and eft your R1000 by the 19th of January 2017.
