Join FacingUp and Sweat4Good
We have only 10 spaces in our charity group.
The cost is R1 300.00 which includes your charity group entry fee R800 (which we have already paid to Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust) and an additional R500 which is a donation to facingUP Support Services (fUSS). A Sweat4Good jersey will be provided with the entry fee.
You will need to contact us to express interest to join our group. We will then provide you with our bank details, and once payment is received in full we will provide you with access to join the group.
When you saddleUP with facingUP, you are using your sweat-effort to help young people attend our programs; in particular, the Lost&Found course which helps young people make sense of loss and equip them to develop positive life strategies in order to become positive role-players in their communities. Take your mouse to and see the impact for yourself. By Sweating4Good, our doGooders have consistently enabled fUSS to support young people to grow through their respective challenges and painful life experiences. If our work resonates with your own life-journey, join our doGoodersmovement and S4G with fUSS!
facingUP [feysing-uhp] The dictionary describes it as:
“to face: have boldness; nerve; dignity” / “up: toward; to a higher point; a more elevated position”
So, you’ve decided to clad yourself in lycra and saddleUP (or push some of it) in the Cape Town Cycle Tour! In that case, the dictionary clarification – the reason for our existence – is also applicable to you as you’ll be facingUP to the challenge of successfully completing the training for, as well as the event itself. Sweating is good for you. And, in training for this event, you’ll be doing lots of it too. So, whist you’re doing it for yourself, why not put your sweat-effort towards good and Sweat4Good?
“Sho! Stuff happens…” – Forest Gump paraphrase.
When ‘stuff’ happens, many people find themselves feeling isolated, unsupported, confused and struggling to make sense of the life-changing loss they have experienced.
facingUP Support Services (fUSS) direct our determination and drive toward supporting young people and communities to make sense of life-changing events, such as death, divorce and displacement.
fUSS design and deliver programmes that equip young people to faceUP to, and support them through the process of overcoming the challenges in their lives; thereby taking individuals ‘to a higher, more elevated point’ in their lives.
