The Cape Town Cycle Tour Junior allows future generations of Cycle Tour riders to get their first taste of the bike racing (even though the packaging says no racing!).

It’s a joyful day of triumph and tears, chaos and camaraderie that they will never forget.

The cycling world lost a true legend and friend yesterday. Tim Brink’s immense contribution to the Cape Town Cycle Tour, from painstakingly compiling its history over the past 40+ years to completing an impressive 36 Cycle Tours himself, has left an indelible mark. Tim’s love and enthusiasm for cycling will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him for many years to come.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends in this difficult time.
Rest well, Tim. Your race is done.
